Harrison

Favorite Movie: Batman Begins

When he’s not reigning as the one and only Lizard King, Harrison runs the soundboard and serves as a co-host on Sorry, We Tried. A true renaissance man, he’s just as likely to fix an audio glitch mid-recording as he is to derail a conversation with an off-the-wall theory. Equal parts technical wizard and chaotic neutral, Harrison brings unpredictability, heart, and a healthy amount of weirdness to the show.

With an ever-expanding bank of random knowledge and a deep curiosity for the strange, the niche, and the under-explored, Harrison thrives in the offbeat corners of conversation. He’s the guy who will earnestly ask a question no one else thought to ask—then somehow tie it back to 14th-century Swiss folklore or a discontinued soda brand.

Fun Fact: He occasionally makes his own butter, and insists it tastes better that way.

Robby

Favorite Movie: Batman Begins

As the one who proudly claims the third chair, Robby (the artist formerly known as Robathan) is the glue that holds Sorry, We Tried together—whether he likes it or not. With a razor-sharp wit and a knack for keeping the energy grounded, he balances out the show’s frequent spirals into absurdity with just enough sarcasm to keep things moving.

Robby brings a thoughtful, often dry perspective to the table, offering commentary that ranges from pop culture deep cuts to obscure internet drama. His deadpan delivery and unexpected punchlines have become a core part of the podcast’s identity. If there's a bizarre niche to explore or a take no one else is brave enough to voice, Robby’s probably already there.

Fun Fact: He is currently blocked on Twitter by professional wrestler Top Dolla, and wears that fact like a badge of honor.

Spencer

Favorite Movie: Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

Spencer is the first voice you’ll hear on Sorry, We Tried, helping kick off each episode with just the right mix of curiosity and chaos. Though not the official “host,” he’s the one keeping the content train on the tracks—editing the show, shaping its flow, and making sure things don’t go completely off the rails (most of the time).

Armed with a B.S. in English and experience as a professional teacher, Spencer approaches pop culture with a blend of philosophical depth and dry humor. He probably uses the word “theme” more than anyone reasonably should.

Fun Fact: Spencer (proudly) holds the record at his old church for worst injury sustained during a choir event.
