Spencer is the first voice you’ll hear on Sorry, We Tried, helping kick off each episode with just the right mix of curiosity and chaos. Though not the official “host,” he’s the one keeping the content train on the tracks—editing the show, shaping its flow, and making sure things don’t go completely off the rails (most of the time).
Armed with a B.S. in English and experience as a professional teacher, Spencer approaches pop culture with a blend of philosophical depth and dry humor. He probably uses the word “theme” more than anyone reasonably should.
Fun Fact: Spencer (proudly) holds the record at his old church for worst injury sustained during a choir event.
